Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies contractcommand.com uses, what they do, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work the same way. UK law (PECR) requires us to get your consent before setting any cookie that isn't strictly necessary — which is what the banner on this site does.
What this site uses
We keep it minimal. No cookies are set for advertising, and nothing is set for analytics unless you click "Accept analytics" on the banner.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_cookie_consent |
Local storage (strictly necessary) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the banner doesn't reappear on every page. | Until you clear it or click "Manage cookies" |
_ga |
Analytics cookie (consent only) | Set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish visitors. | 2 years |
_ga_N6M7SETXS4 |
Analytics cookie (consent only) | Set by Google Analytics 4 to maintain session state for this site. | 2 years |
We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, collecting only aggregate, non-identifying visit statistics.
Your choices
- The banner. On your first visit you can accept or decline analytics cookies. Declining sets nothing except the record of your choice.
- Change your mind. Click "Manage cookies" in the footer of any page to clear your choice and see the banner again.
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings at any time. The site works fully without analytics cookies.
